Reisig and Taylor have definitely brought the photographic image to the world of POP Art. As a powerhouse couple, they combine 50 years of working with image, light and shade, object and space, temperature and depth like no other!

The Aspen Art Gallery is very proud to be a major part of their very first Sold out collection - Reisig and Taylor’s Cubaness and now only one Cubaness 2 is currently available. Last November they released DTLA ness (Down Town LA) and today we are so very excited to introduce you to a brand new Release.

including The Blue Peacock - India’s National bird, a classic Reisig rendition of a suicide girl and a stunning homage to the long, majestic architectural corridors of India.

Our most recent work (produced during quarantine) is adorned with this tangled poetics of solitary public that inhabits a virtually displayed private. Making sense of nonsense and nonsense of sense, it is precisely the work of art to sensitize a present absence and create a space where there is only a surface, a screen.
