SHERRI MIGNONNE - Her first ever White Bronze Aspen sculptures!

Photographer, painter, sculptor where does Sherri Mignonne's talent stop?

Over her career, Sherri found several ways to express her creativity, including photography, painting, and sculpture!

For her, it's just like changing some ingredients of a recipe... But the taste is always delicious!

For her first Aspen Series sculptures, she casts young tree trunks and branches in bronze, and then gives it a patina that replicates the color and texture of an Aspen tree.

"The sculptures creation come from a desire to have real Aspen Trees with me whether I am working in my Texas studio or my Colorado studio, acting as muses for the paintings I create.  I love everything about Aspen Trees; their connected roots, their black and white color, their eyes, the sleek lines, and the sounds of their leaves in the wind." - SHERRI MIGNONNE

She loves that Aspen Trees are connected through their roots. It makes them the biggest living organism on earth. "This powerful connectivity is a spiritual lesson for us all." -SHERRI MIGNONNE

She coupled the Aspens with different rocks "The rocks that I am using are considered to be energy rocks." - SHERRI MIGNONNE. For those pieces she used Brazilian lace agate with Druzy quarts crystals, Amethyst geode, and a black granite base.
